Mr. Nitin Aggarwal (CEO) is a Mechanical Engineer from the famous Bangalore University. In the year 2000, he joined his fathers business with an ambition to take it to a better level. His fast analytical thinking ability and great business handling skills bagged him Young Entrepreneur Award in the year 2009 by Indian Achievers Podium.

In the view of taking company to the next best level, he, on a daily basis, started interacting with Quality and R&D experts to make certain procurement of simply the best raw material and employment of the best techniques for better production of SS Bathroom Shower, Door Stopper, Kitchen Sink, Wash Basin, etc. His active participation in manufacturing, promotional and sales field helped company achieve a large customer base in minimum time. History

In the year 1975, Mr. V.K. Aggarwal, started his career to develop/trade brass based internal bath fittings like Bathroom Shower, Wash Basin etc. Feeling the need for innovation in this field, he decided to serve in this sector and make the best use of PTMT or Polytetra Methylene Terapathalate to make taps and ease essential need of water availability. He, being the man behind the foundation, success and growth of Prayag, pays attention towards consumers need of safe water supply without leakage as well as without any wastage.

1986	Company began manufacturing PTMT taps at Noida based manufacturing plant
1986 to 1989	Struggled acceptability of PTMT taps in schools, hospitals, homes, Govt. Offices
1989 to 1991	Free products to various institutions for testing performance of PTMT taps
1991	Products started getting appreciation from various institutions for features like durability, reliability, leak free working, high performance and reasonability
1991 to 2006	PTMT taps started gaining success in various sectors and institutes like BSNL, BHEL, NTPC, CPWD, and more
2008	Company began witnessing growth under the leadership of Mr. Nitin Aggarwal and gained ISO certification
